Thought that title might get your attention. No cloak and dagger stuff, at least not today, “CIA” is the acronym for the Craft Industry Alliance. It’s a grass roots networking organization with regular meet ups for those of us in the fiber arts to meet, discuss issues, and find solutions to keep moving our businesses forward in these uncertain times. This month my special interest group is discussing how to find and work with a publisher, timely for me as I just finished the first five patterns for my book and while I work on the remainder, I am also gathering critical information on how to take the next step towards publishing a finished book, you know, a real one with pages and a fun cover, not an electronic file.
So, if you’re serious about your fiber related business, I invite you to join us for our monthly meetings and classes.
