There are a lot of choices out there for the little things that make life a little easer. So, as people recommend things to me, and I use them, I’ll start adding them here for everyone else to try too. It doesn’t need to be a knitting or crochet related item, we could all use a little less stress in our lives.

I have trouble seeing colors blend together in my designs when I am just looking at skeins so I use one of these to help me see how the colors may work together.
This can be a simple ruler or something cute like this little cat from Katrinkles:
Mine is discontinued but this one is similar to it. I like to weigh every skein and when I am mid-project or component, like a sleeve, I like to weigh it to make sure I have properly accounted for the yarn needed to complete the project.
When your yarn might not be consistently spun or you don’t have the label, it’s a good idea to measure it before you start your project.
