Description
When you have had enough of scarves and rectangular shapes for home decorating, it’s time to pick up a new skill and try your first garment. This project is the perfect first garment because there is no increasing nor shaping of any kind to concern yourself with as you effortlessly let the stockinette rows flow off your needles with a simple cable edge for your first try at texture. Two different cuffs are presented for the sleeves so let your creativity be your guide and create your own masterpiece.
Materials: Cascade Eco+, (100% wool) 478yards/250grams, Color: Crushed Grape, 3 skeins
Needles: US 10 for cuffs and hem, US 10.5 for bodice and sleeves. Recommended circular needle sizes; 24” and 12” or DPNs in lieu of the 12” circulars.
Notions: 6 markers, tapestry needle
Gauge: 16 sts x 20 rows = 4″/10cm stockinette blocked, steam blocking recommended
