Memory Lane Shawl – Knitting Pattern

Description

Create your own special memories making and wearing this simple shawl. Designed to be knit from the top down as it grows to a wingspan of 58” and a depth of 13” the increases create a gentle crescent which rests comfortably on the shoulders. The bind off is a modified edging with a single cable.

Yarn:       1 skein Urth Harvest Fingering (100% Extrafine Superwash Merino; 435 yards [398 meters]/100 grams yards): Indigo

Dimensions: 58″ wingspan x 13″ deep at middle

Gauge:    20 sts and 28 rows = 4” /10 cm in St st before blocking.

Needle:   US size 7 (4.5 mm) 30” circular

Notions: Tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers (two of each color)
