When the flowers begin to emerge from their Winter slumber and you still need a little something to keep you warm in your Spring jacket, the Fireworks Cowl will come in handy.  Knit sideways to take full advantage of the beautiful tonal relationships of the colors in Noro Enka, this cowl will become a wardrobe favorite on cool Sprint mornings.  Enka is 50% cotton so it will also be suitable for around the firepit at the beach this Summer too when you gather again with family and friends to watch the fireworks on July 4th.

Yarn:        Noro Enka Color #06 Mito 1 skein (50% Cotton, 20% silk, 15% Wool, 15% Polyamide; 200g/550yd)

Needle:    US 6/4mm straight or 16″/41cm circular needle, spare of same size or smaller straight for three needle bind off.

Hook:        US G/4mm

Notions:  Two stitch markers, wide-eye needle, 1’/25cm contrasting smooth yarn for provisional cast on

Gauge:      Approx 18 sts x 24 rows = 4″/10cm stockinette square
