Lavender Fields Shawl – Crochet Pattern Download

$6.00

On the North Fork of Long Island there are some beautiful lavender fields which I love to wander through after a long ferry ride en route to my beloved corner of “The End” on rare occasions when I don’t cruise down to Montauk by boat. It’s the perfect antidote to life being there among the beautiful tones of purple and green as the fog lifts and the world becomes my oyster.

Description

On the East End of Long Island there are lavender fields which produce the most beautiful array of shades of purple in the summertime.  As the morning fog lifts the fields reveal themselves in all their majestic glory.  This yarn combination reminded me of the beauty of that moment when the sun is at just the right angle to light up the fields and the fog begins to lift as the temperature rises to reveal the fields that have been clipped of their blooms and those still waiting to be clipped.
