Black Box Shawl – Crochet Pattern Download

$6.00

Some people are very self conscious about their appearance and prefer not to have the point of a triangle to bring attention to their back or those few extra pounds around their middle so, for one of my clients I designed this shawl to accentuate the positive and provide that extra bit of coverage she needed over the front and back of her dress.

Not into black? No problem, this one is easy to make with six balls of yarn, just let the colors flow or use a variegated selection, it’s yarn agnostic although I must admit, working with Wooly Worsted was fantastic and I will doing it again!

Sit, relax, and enjoy a cuppa while you make memories to savor wearing your own piece of wearable fiber art.

This was a challenge from a student who needed a black shawl she could wear over a deep neckline and low back to give her outfit a little more visual interest without resorting to something triangular, challenge accepted! Since she wanted to work in a dark color, it was important that most of the work be done into chain spaces.
