With four pet rabbits running around like cats strung out on catnip, there’s always a bit of Easter here in our house. So, fitting that while cleaning a kitchen cabinet out I found one lonely easter egg dye tablet left over from Easter 2022. Rather than put it back in the cabinet I opted for a little creative interlude featuring it and a skein of natural color wool that was left over from another project. I was pretty surprised how easy it was to make my own “indie-dyed” creation. Thinking it will become a hat when it’s dry. So, here’s how I did it…
The final product will be ready soon, needs to be dry before it can be wound. For now, I’ll work on a design to highlight the yellow theme. Thinking something that radiates out like a sunburst could work, stay tuned here and on Instagram where I can be found at….
